David and Amy Fox, a married couple on the brink of divorce following a family tragedy, find themselves stranded at a remote, run-down motel after their car breaks down on a desolate mountain road. Their night takes a terrifying turn when they discover hidden cameras in their room and realize that the low-budget slasher films left for their entertainment were actually filmed in that very room. Realizing they are the intended victims for the motel's next snuff film, the couple must set aside their differences and use their wits to escape a group of masked killers and a sadistic motel manager before they become the next stars of a gruesome production.
