Shambhunath Mishra, a retired and righteous middle-school teacher in Gwalior, lives a modest life with his wife, Manju, while struggling under the weight of a mounting debt taken to support their ungrateful son's life abroad. Their peaceful existence is shattered by the relentless harassment and depravity of Prajapati Pandey, a local loan shark who uses their home for his illicit activities. Pushed to his absolute limit, the mild-mannered Shambhunath commits a cold-blooded murder to protect his dignity. The story follows his meticulous and desperate attempts to orchestrate the "perfect murder" and dispose of the evidence while evading a suspicious local cop, blurring the lines between a heinous crime and a moral execution.
