Vertigo

Set in San Francisco, the story follows retired detective John "Scottie" Ferguson, who suffers from acrophobia and vertigo after a traumatic rooftop chase. Scottie is hired by an old acquaintance to shadow his wife, Madeleine, who has been behaving erratically and appears possessed by a spirit from the past. As Scottie becomes deeply obsessed with the beautiful, haunting woman, he is drawn into a complex web of deception, murder, and psychological manipulation that challenges his grip on reality.
