In modern-day New Orleans, Emily and her fiancé Christian discover an ancient, mysterious spirit board while renovating an old carriage house to open a café. Unknowingly, Emily unearths a cursed artifact that awakens the malevolent spirit of Naga Soth, a 17th-century white witch. As Emily becomes increasingly possessed by the entity’s dark energy, her friends—including an occult expert played by Jamie Campbell Bower—must race against time to perform a dangerous ritual and break the curse before the witch completely consumes her soul.
