Wonder Woman (2017) is a superhero action-adventure film that tells the origin story of Diana, an Amazonian warrior princess raised on the hidden island of Themyscira. Trained to be a fierce fighter, her life changes when American pilot Steve Trevor crash-lands on the island and reveals the horrors of World War I raging in the outside world. Believing Ares, the god of war, is behind the conflict, Diana leaves her home for the first time to stop him and end the war.
