Yes I Am Student follows Jass (Sidhu Moosewala), a determined young man who leaves his family and homeland to study in Canada, hoping to build a better future. But his dreams quickly crash into the harsh realities of being an immigrant: exploitation by employers, discrimination—even from his own community—and crushing loneliness. Homeless at one point, Jass keeps pushing forward. With the help of loyal friends and his own grit, he ultimately builds a “Student City” to shelter international students like himself—turning adversity into empowerment.
