Set against the geopolitical complexities and socio-political unrest of Northeast India, Anek follows Aman (alias Joshua), an undercover intelligence officer dispatched to neutralize a rising militant threat and facilitate a pivotal peace accord between the government and separatist factions. Operating in secrecy, Joshua crosses paths with Aido, a fiercely determined local boxer battling systemic discrimination and societal odds to represent India on the international stage. As conflicting political interests, betrayal, and violence escalate around him, Joshua begins to confront the ethical realities of governance, conflict resolution, and what it truly means to belong to a diverse and unified nation.
