Set against the grim backdrop of the rampant kidnapping racket in Bihar, the story revolves around Ajay Shastri, an ambitious young man desperate to become a police officer who struggles under the weight of the rigid principles upheld by his activist father, Prof. Raghuvansh Shastri.
