Shruti Kakkar (Anushka Sharma), a focused and ambitious girl from a middle-class Delhi household, and Bittoo Sharma (Ranveer Singh), a carefree slacker looking to avoid returning to his father's sugarcane fields, form an unlikely partnership to launch their own wedding planning business called "Shaadi Mubarak." Their venture becomes a massive success as they navigate the colorful and chaotic world of lavish Delhi weddings while strictly adhering to their primary rule: never let business and love mix.
