Barbie in A Mermaid Tale

Barbie in a Mermaid Tale follows Merliah Summers, a talented surfer from Malibu, whose world is upended when she discovers she is half‑mermaid and that her mother, the Queen of Oceana, is missing. Together with her dolphin friend Zuma, and aided by her new mermaid allies, Merliah sets off on a daring undersea adventure. She must collect three magical items, confront her evil aunt Eris (who has usurped the throne), and rescue her mother. Along the way she grapples with what being different truly means—and ultimately learns that embracing her unique identity might be what gives her the strength to restore Oceana and fulfill her destiny.
