Bawaal

Bawaal follows Ajay Dixit (Varun Dhawan), a history teacher who is very image conscious and always trying to impress others. He marries Nisha (Janhvi Kapoor), who is more grounded. Their marriage is strained by their very different personalities and expectations. After Ajay gets into trouble for slapping a student of an MLA over a historical debate, he and Nisha go on a trip across Europe to visit World War II‑era sites. Through this journey, they confront their insecurities, understand suffering and history, and reassess their relationship.
