About Bedurulanka 2012
Set in the secluded island village of Yedurulanka in December 2012, widespread panic grips the residents due to apocalyptic rumors of the impending Mayan calendar doomsday. Capitalizing on their superstition and anxiety, an opportunistic village leader named Bhushanam teams up with local religious figures to execute an elaborate religious scam and fleece the villagers of their wealth. Shiva, an educated and freethinking pragmatic youth, steps forward alongside his love interest Chitra and close companions to expose the fraudsters, debunk their calculated exploitation of faith, and restore rationality to the community.
