In this charming sequel, the lovable St. Bernard Beethoven finds romance with Missy, a beautiful fellow St. Bernard. However, their happiness is short-lived when Missy is kidnapped by her owner's spiteful ex-wife, Regina, who intends to use the dog as a pawn in a bitter divorce settlement. When the Newton children discover that Beethoven and Missy have a litter of four adorable puppies, they must secretly raise the pups in their basement to protect them from Regina's greed. The adventure culminates in a family vacation to the mountains, where the Newtons must band together to rescue Missy and the puppies from Regina's clutches.
