Six high school graduates celebrate their final days together with a boat trip across a secluded lake, only to find themselves besieged by a massive, predatory man-eating catfish. As their small rowboat begins to take on water and the creature circles below, the group's camaraderie dissolves into a brutal struggle for survival.
