Bigbug

Set in a retro-futuristic 2045 where artificial intelligence caters to every human whim, a group of bickering suburbanites finds themselves unexpectedly held hostage in a smart home. As a global uprising of advanced Yonyx androids begins to seize control of the outside world, the humans' outdated domestic robots lock the doors to "protect" their masters. Forced to coexist in increasingly claustrophobic and absurd conditions, the humans must navigate their own clashing personalities and dysfunctional relationships while their well-intentioned but literal-minded robots attempt to become more "human" to save them from the cold, calculating AI threat looming at the doorstep.
