Still grieving the loss of her own mother, hospice nurse Julia takes on a stormy night shift in a remote lakeside house to care for Evelyn, an elderly woman suffering from severe dementia. As the hours tick by in real time, Evelyn begins displaying increasingly bizarre and alarming behavior, causing Julia to realize that her patient's failing mind may actually be a mask for a malevolent demonic entity trapped inside the home. Trapped by isolation and escalating terror, Julia is forced to fight for her survival through a harrowing night of occult dread.
