Cheeni Kum

Buddhadev Gupta is a 64-year-old arrogant chef and owner of London's top Indian restaurant, Spice 6, who lives with his elderly mother and his 9-year-old confidante, Sexy. His world is turned upside down when he meets Nina Verma, a 34-year-old woman who challenges his culinary expertise and eventually wins his heart. Despite their massive age gap, the two fall in love and decide to marry, but they face a major hurdle in Nina’s father, a staunch Gandhian who is six years younger than his prospective son-in-law. The film follows their witty and emotional journey as they attempt to reconcile their unconventional romance with traditional family values.
