Chemical Hearts follows 17‑year‑old Henry Page, a high school senior who fancies himself a romantic but has never experienced real love. On his first day of senior year, he’s forced to share the role of editor for the school newspaper with Grace Town, a mysterious new transfer student with a troubled past and a physical limp. As Henry becomes drawn to Grace and tries to break through her walls, he slowly learns that she is haunted by grief and secrets—forcing both of them to confront the painful parts of love, identity, and healing.
