Chidiya

“Chidiya” is a tender, poetic drama set in a cramped Mumbai chawl, where two young brothers, Shanu (Svar Kamble) and Bua (Ayush Pathak), dream of playing badminton despite their modest surroundings and the loss of their father. Their mother (Amruta Subhash) works hard to keep the family afloat, while their uncle Bali (Vinay Pathak) supports them lovingly. When the brothers discover an old racket and a discarded shuttlecock (“chidiya”), they unite their community to transform a junkyard into a makeshift court — a touching story about childhood resilience, hope, and the power of imagination.
