Chupa

While visiting his extended family in Mexico, shy 13-year-old Alex discovers a young chupacabra cub hiding in his grandfather's shed. Despite the creature's fearsome reputation in local folklore, Alex forms an unlikely bond with the misunderstood "Chupa" and learns that a relentless scientist, Richard Quinn, is hunting the creature to exploit its mythical powers. To protect his new friend and reunite it with its family, Alex joins forces with his eccentric grandfather—a former lucha libre champion—and his energetic cousins on a high-stakes adventure across the Mexican countryside.
