Picking up immediately after his death-defying fall from the first film, unstoppable hitman Chev Chelios is kidnapped by a Chinese mob syndicate that harvests his near-indestructible heart and replaces it with a battery-powered artificial ticker. To stay alive and track down his stolen organ, Chev must embark on a high-octane rampage across Los Angeles, constantly subjecting himself to extreme jolts of electricity—from car batteries to high-voltage power lines—to keep his mechanical heart charging.
