Based on the classic 16th-century novel Investiture of the Gods, this epic fantasy follows the rise of the tyrannical King Zhou, who ascends to the throne after conspiring with a malevolent fox spirit. As the kingdom is plunged into darkness and a Great Curse threatens the land, the mystic sages of Kunlun Mountain intervene by sending the immortal Jiang Ziya to deliver the "Fengshen Bang"—a divine scroll capable of restoring order.
