Crime 101

Based on the novella by Don Winslow, Crime 101 follows Mike Davis, a meticulous jewel thief who operates along the Pacific Coast Highway with a strict set of rules to avoid detection. His disciplined life begins to unravel after a high-stakes heist leaves him wounded and attracts the attention of Lou Lubesnick, a relentless detective who connects Davis to a series of unsolved robberies. As Davis attempts one final score to secure a future with a new love, he finds himself caught between the law, an undervalued insurance broker looking for a way out, and a psychotic rival criminal. The narrative culminates in a tense cat-and-mouse game through Los Angeles, where shifting loyalties and personal desperation force each character to choose between their professional codes and their survival.
