Last Man in Tower

Set in 2010 Mumbai, the film follows the residents of the decaying Vishram Cooperative Housing Society whose lives are disrupted when a ruthless real-estate tycoon offers them a massive financial payout for luxury redevelopment, contingent on a unanimous vote. While his cash-strapped neighbors eagerly scramble to accept the offer, a stubborn retired schoolteacher named Yogesh Mishra (Masterji) refuses to sign away the apartment that holds the cherished memories of his late wife. As his refusal stands in the way of everyone else's dreams of a modern windfall, harmonious community bonds rapidly fray into a tense psychological pressure cooker of targeted malice and moral compromise.
