Daddy Cool

Set in Goa, the film follows Steven Lazarus as he attempts to organize a dignified funeral for his father, Douglas "Daddy Cool" Lazarus. The solemn occasion quickly descends into a chaotic "fun-eral" when the coffin makers deliver the wrong body, a guest accidentally consumes hallucinogenic drugs, and a mysterious stranger arrives threatening to reveal a scandalous family secret. Inspired by the 2007 British comedy Death at a Funeral, this ensemble comedy explores a series of escalating mishaps involving eccentric family members, blackmail, and unintended romance, all occurring within the span of a single afternoon.
