Dhadak

Dhadak is a Hindi romantic drama set in Rajasthan that explores how two young lovers from very different social strata struggle against entrenched caste barriers and honor-based violence. The film follows Madhukar Bagla (Ishaan Khatter), a poor young man, and Parthavi Singh (Janhvi Kapoor), from a wealthy family, whose budding romance runs into extreme opposition from Parthavi’s family and social prejudices. While they dream of building a life together, their love is tested by community pressures, familial resistance, and the brutal realities of caste-driven honor codes.
