Dug Dug

Set in rural Rajasthan and inspired by the real-life folklore of Om Banna (Bullet Baba), Dug Dug is a biting dark satirical comedy that chronicles the bizarre aftermath of a fatal highway crash involving an alcoholic villager named Thakur Lal. When his impounded motorcycle mysteriously disappears from the local police station and repeatedly reappears at the exact site of his death, the bewildered villagers interpret the anomaly as a divine miracle. As word spreads, opportunistic locals, religious peddlers, and self-appointed custodians build an organized cult around the two-wheeler—offering alcohol to the vehicle in exchange for answered prayers—rapidly turning superstitious devotion into a commercialized spiritual industry.
