Escape from Mogadishu

Based on a true story, the film is set during the Somali Civil War in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It depicts the perilous escape attempt made by personnel from both the South Korean and North Korean embassies in Mogadishu. As the city crumbles under rebel attacks and government collapse, the rival diplomats, who were previously engaged in a bitter diplomatic battle for UN recognition, are forced to put aside their ideological differences and join forces to survive. The narrative blends high-stakes political tension with intense action sequences as they navigate the bullet-ridden streets of the capital to find a way out of the country.
