Everybody's Talking About Jamie

Inspired by true events, the film follows Jamie New, a sixteen-year-old teenager from a blue-collar town in Sheffield who harbors the unconventional dream of becoming a professional drag queen. While his classmates prepare for traditional careers, Jamie secretly plans his grand debut on the stage, supported by his loving mother, Margaret, and his best friend, Pritti. Despite facing prejudice from his estranged father and local bullies, Jamie finds a mentor in local drag legend Miss Loco Chanelle, who helps him navigate the challenges of self-expression. Through vibrant musical numbers and emotional realizations, Jamie learns to step out of the darkness and embrace his true identity in time for his high school prom.
