Set during the Partition of India in 1947, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha follows Tara Singh, a Sikh truck driver, who rescues and falls in love with Sakeena, a Muslim woman from an aristocratic family. They marry despite social and religious tensions, but tragedy strikes when Sakeena’s father forces her to return to Pakistan. Tara then embarks on a daring cross-border mission to reunite with his love and son, facing political, communal, and personal obstacles.
