An injured forest ranger named Gabi embarks on a routine mission deep in an ancient South African forest where she is injured while retrieving a lost drone. She is found and nursed by two off-grid survivalists — a father and his son — who embrace a cult-like reverence for the wilderness. As Gabi tries to escape, strange fungal creatures begin to emerge and the group’s beliefs blur the lines between reverence and horror, revealing a greater threat hidden within the forest’s depths.
