Ghostbusters

Ghostbusters (1984) is a supernatural comedy-adventure about three quirky parapsychologists — Peter Venkman, Raymond Stantz, and Egon Spengler — who lose their academic positions in New York City and decide to start a ghost-catching business. Armed with proton packs and a converted firehouse headquarters, they begin hunting spirits and specters for paying customers. However, as paranormal activity skyrockets across the city, the Ghostbusters find themselves facing an ancient, malevolent force intent on unleashing havoc and destruction unless these unlikely heroes can stop it in time.
