After relocating his family back to his hometown to be closer to his childhood friends, Lenny Feder finds that life in a small town is anything but quiet. On the last day of school, Lenny and his eccentric group of friends—Eric, Kurt, and Marcus—navigate a chaotic series of events involving old bullies, new rivals in the form of a rowdy local fraternity, and a massive costumed party. As they juggle the challenges of parenthood and their own lingering maturity issues, the four friends realize that while they may have grown older, they haven't necessarily grown up, leading to a day filled with outrageous surprises and bizarre encounters.
