Helicopter Eela

Helicopter Eela follows the journey of Eela Raiturkar (Kajol), an aspiring singer from the 1990s who sacrifices her dreams after her husband abandons her. Years later, her life revolves completely around her teenage son, Vivaan (Riddhi Sen), whom she tends to “hover” over like a helicopter parent. In an effort to keep tabs on him—both physically and emotionally—she even enrolls in his college. As Eela grapples with letting go and finding her own identity, her son struggles for independence. It's a heartfelt, comedic-drama about motherhood, personal dreams deferred, and the bittersweet process of rediscovering oneself.
