When resourceful siblings Andi and Bruce find themselves in a strict foster home that forbids pets, they are forced to find a creative solution to hide their beloved dog, Friday. After discovering an abandoned, dilapidated hotel, the duo uses Bruce’s mechanical genius to transform the building into a high-tech sanctuary for Friday and every stray dog in the city. Together with a group of neighborhood friends, they build elaborate gadgets to feed and entertain their furry guests, all while desperately trying to keep the massive operation a secret from suspicious adults and overzealous animal control officers.
