Gopal (Shah Rukh Khan) and Radha (Madhuri Dixit) are a happily married couple until Gopal’s intense possessiveness begins to erode their relationship. His jealousy centers on Radha’s deep, lifelong friendship with her childhood companion Suraj (Salman Khan), a famous singer. Misinterpreting their innocent platonic bond as an illicit affair, Gopal’s suspicion eventually leads him to oust Radha from their home and send her a divorce notice. The story follows the emotional turmoil of the three protagonists as Gopal is forced to confront his internal insecurities and realize the true nature of loyalty and friendship before his marriage is permanently destroyed.
