Hurdang

Set against the backdrop of the 1990 anti-reservation student agitations in Prayagraj (Allahabad), the story follows Daddu Thakur (Sunny Kaushal), an ambitious college student aiming to clear the prestigious Civil Services examination to marry his childhood love, Jhulan (Nushrratt Bharuccha). However, when the announcement of caste-based reservations threatens the academic prospects of upper-caste aspirants, Daddu is manipulated by a conniving local student politician, Loha Singh (Vijay Varma), into spearheading aggressive campus protests. As the rebellion escalates into violent riots and personal tragedy, Daddu must confront the grim cost of blind political allegiance and fight to redeem himself before losing everything he cherishes.
