Jolly LL.B 2

Jagdishwar “Jolly” Mishra (Akshay Kumar) is a small-time, ambitious lawyer in Lucknow with dreams of having his own chamber. He survives by doing petty tasks in court corridors and helping senior lawyers. When a needy widow, Hina Siddique, approaches him for legal help — which he initially misleads for money — she tragically commits suicide upon learning of his duplicity. Filled with guilt, Jolly decides to pursue her husband’s case: Iqbal Qasim, who died in what appears to be a “fake encounter” staged by a corrupt police officer and falsely declared a terrorist. Against powerful opposition from the ruthless advocate Pramod Mathur (Annu Kapoor), and with the courtroom (and public) watching, Jolly battles to unveil the truth and bring justice in a system riddled with corruption.
