Khuda Haafiz

Set against the backdrop of the 2008 global financial recession, newly married Indian software engineer Sameer Chaudhary and his wife Nargis seek employment overseas to overcome severe economic hardship. When Nargis secures a job first and arrives in the fictional Middle Eastern sultanate of Noman, she is abducted by an organized international human trafficking syndicate. Desperate to save her, Sameer flies to the unfamiliar foreign country, teaming up with an empathetic local taxi driver and local security officials while navigating corruption, deception, and escalating danger in an urgent mission to locate and rescue his wife.
