Inspired by true events and based on the novel Escape to Nowhere by Amar Bhushan, Khufiya is a neo-noir spy thriller that follows Krishna Mehra, a hardened operative for India's Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW). After a botched mission in Dhaka leads to the death of an undercover asset, Krishna is assigned to track down a mole within her own organization who is leaking sensitive defense secrets. As she orchestrates a complex surveillance operation on the prime suspect and his unsuspecting family, she must navigate a perilous path where her professional duties clash with her secret past and personal emotional stakes.
