Laung Laachi 2

Laung Laachi 2 is a Punjabi romantic comedy-drama set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition. The story follows a Muslim family forced to flee their ancestral home, which is soon occupied by a local thief named Mehnga. Instead of driving them away, Mehnga becomes intertwined with the family, especially their educated daughter, Mariam. When a Sikh family led by Karnail Singh Maan also settles in the area, a complex love triangle unfolds, culminating in a surprising twist that reveals Karnail’s true identity as a cop. The film blends themes of romance, communal harmony, and humor while portraying the challenges and emotions during a turbulent historical period.
