Based on Ruskin Bond’s popular story "Rusty Runs Away," the film follows the spirited adventures of two best friends, Vishy and Sunny, who are ninth-grade students at a disciplined boarding school in the Himalayan foothills. Feeling suffocated by the rigid routine and endless rules, the duo decides to escape their hostel after Vishy receives an email from his sailor uncle inviting him to join a voyage from India’s west coast. Their journey across the country becomes a heartwarming and comical odyssey of self-discovery, where they encounter a variety of eccentric characters and learn the true meaning of freedom and friendship while navigating the unpredictable challenges of the open road.
