Love Aaj Kal

Jai and Meera are a modern-day couple living in London who decide to break up amicably when their respective career ambitions pull them toward different cities. While they attempt to remain "just friends" and move on with new partners, Jai meets Veer Singh, an elderly man who narrates his own arduous quest for love in the 1960s. As the film juxtaposes Veer’s old-fashioned persistence with Jai’s pragmatic approach to modern relationships, Jai eventually realizes that true love is timeless and that his connection with Meera is worth more than his professional aspirations.
