Maa Jaye is a poignant Punjabi drama inspired by the true life story of Dr. Amarjit Singh, an Indian-American immigrant whose life was forever shaped by the First Kashmir War. The narrative spans decades and continents, following Harmeet Singh (Jimmy Sheirgill), a successful NRI in New York whose polished life is interrupted by the arrival of his mother and the haunting memories of his past.
