Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome

In “Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome,” ex-patrol officer Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson) wanders a post-apocalyptic wasteland and arrives in the ruthless trading settlement of Bartertown, where he’s coerced into fighting in the deadly Thunderdome arena by its ruler Aunty Entity (Tina Turner). After surviving the gladiatorial combat only to be betrayed and left for dead, Max is rescued by a community of feral children who mistake him for their missing pilot and leader, setting him on a journey that forces him to confront his own humanity while battling Bartertown’s tyranny and ultimately helping the children pursue a better hope for survival.
