About Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
In the 2018 musical‑comedy sequel, the film travels back in time to 1979 while also continuing present‑day events: young Donna Sheridan (Lily James) graduates from Oxford and embarks on summer adventures that lead her to meet Harry, Bill and Sam — the three men who could be the father of her future daughter. Meanwhile, in the present day, Donna’s daughter Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) prepares to reopen Hotel Bella Donna on the Greek island of Kalokairi, honouring her late mother’s memory; as old friends and “possible dads” reunite amid laughter, music, and nostalgia, Sophie reflects on her mother’s past and what family truly means.
