In the bustling city of Mumbai, widower V.S. Kamath (Jackie Shroff) leads a lonely, regimented existence until a burglary jolts him out of his routine. Meanwhile, Prakash Kaur Handa (Neena Gupta), a vibrant Punjabi widow, also experiences a break‑in. Their paths cross under unlikely circumstances, and as they strike an unexpected friendship they begin to rediscover life, companionship and joy. Parallel to their story is that of a struggling migrant tailor Nanhe (Abhishek Chauhan) whose survival pushes him into burglary and ultimately intersects with Kamath and Handa’s worlds.
