Meri Biwi Ka Jawab Nahin is an action-comedy drama that follows Ajay (Akshay Kumar), a disciplined police inspector, and his outspoken, uneducated, yet fiercely courageous wife, Durga (Sridevi). Upon relocating to Mumbai, the simple-minded Durga becomes a self-styled vigilante, championing the rights of local women against corrupt politicians and predatory officials. Her bold interventions eventually lead her into a trap set by the villainous ASP Chaurasia, resulting in a false accusation of prostitution that threatens her marriage and reputation.
