Month of Madhu

Set against the coastal backdrop of Visakhapatnam, Month of Madhu follows the intertwining lives of two distinct individuals named Madhu: Madhusudhan Rao, an aimless, alcoholic middle-aged man undergoing an emotionally grueling divorce from his long-time partner Lekha, and Madhumathi, a spirited 19-year-old NRI girl visiting from the United States for a family wedding. When their paths unexpectedly cross, an unlikely month-long dynamic develops that prompts both individuals to confront their own definitions of personal freedom, identity, coping mechanisms, and the delicate emotional intricacies that define long-term companionship.
