Oru Jaathi Jaathakam is a satirical Malayalam romantic comedy that follows the life of Mambrath Jayesh, a 37-year-old bachelor from North Malabar with a rigid and often bigoted checklist for his ideal bride. Influenced by traditional beliefs and his father's astrological deadline for his marriage, Jayesh navigates a series of hilariously failed proposals and matrimonial encounters that challenge his narrow views on caste, color, and gender.
